Our local music library, stored on a NAS, with all the CDs ripped with love in 44.1 kHz 16 Bit WAV Format now plays a second row role.
The (‘Studio-Standard’) JPlay music engine, formed by two PCs, the highly isolated and 'hybernated' ‘Audio PC’ and the ‘Control PC’, now as UPnP renderer, remains. JPlay 6.2 is migrated to JPlay 7 Femto,
Audio Phil’s Audiophile Optimizer software receives an update to AO 3.0 on both machines.

This is accompanied by a dedicated front end computer, the new iMac 24" M1. It hosts the Audirvana Studio player software. Audirvana Studio integrates Tidal and Quobuz Hi-Res Content with our own files and Internet radio, very neatly.
The Audirvana remote app lives on an iPad Pro, the place where the music is selected now.
And the return of the sleeve graphics! Now the cover can attract you, as first impression, again.

So - 8-Stage Reclocking, by a chain of 8 x MC-3(+USB) synchronized to the Mutec Ref.10 SE 120 Master Clock - is now fully realized.
The result - We (me, my better half, and my visitors) are still trying to find words...
ENORMOUS, unheard to date - depth of field. Soundstage width. ABSOLUTE freedom of any kind of grain, ultra-cleaned up presentation. Spacial rendering of details and distances vastly enhanced, like never ever. Great emotion. This is 'greater- than-analogue' sound - without the analogue worries (wow, flutter, rumble, noise, static, scratches, wear, 45 dB channel separation, tone arm geometric error, cell aging, pre-preamp hum, RIAA curve not faithful, k3 of 3 %, forced channel corelation - only positive phase allowed - I had enough stress with this, give me a break..., poisons, involved in manufacturing, etc). But the analogue section is right - digital jitter IS unstandeable! One must take measures...)
Ultra deep, 'black', silence, total intertransient silence. Unheard lowest bass response. Far out... Thank you, Mutec!

Ich habe zwei 'Maximal-Fans' kennengelernt:
Marcel Kummer und Sven Bönicke.
Marcel hört sehr feine Unterschiede in der Wiedergabe - …"Fog"… Er verwendet u.a. Lautsprecher-Kabel Elevatoren!
Dies haben ultimative High-Ender mit EHS (Elektro-Hyper-Sensibilität-) Betroffenen gemeinsam, denn in der Tat interagiert die Leitung mit der Unterlage. Ich habe eigene Elevatoren entwickelt, coming soon.
Nur kurz - was sonst machen EHS-Betroffene? Sämtliche, absolut alle, Kabel abgeschirmt oder sogar zweimal geschirmt (mein EMV-Lehrer Josef Peter sagt - "man muss die Abschirmung schirmen"… )
Private Glasfaser-Strecke - mit Media-Converter Kupfer nach Glasfaser wandeln, optische Leitung (LWL - Lichtwellen-Leiter), und wieder zurück zu Kupfer. 100%-ige galvanische Trennung, keine Erdschlaufen.

Marcel hat mir die Augen geöffnet mit seinem Silent Angel Switch, der mit externen 10 MHz synchronisiert wird - welch ein Unterschied. Auch das Thema künstliche Verlangsamung von Gigabit Ethernet auf 100 Mbit/s wird hier adressiert.
Und Marcel hat mich von Audirvana zu Roon um-missioniert. Audirvana klingt gut, sehr gut, und verwendet auschliesslich Industrie-Standard Protokolle. Aber das Remote auf iPad ist leider nicht brauchbar, zu buggy. Roon ist bei der Version 2.0 Build 1300 sehr reife Software. Ab Build 1300 klingt es nicht schlechter als Audirvana - aber erst jetzt.
Auf "Roon Radio" will man nicht verzichten, wenn man es mal hatte. Das Thema Internet Radio ist besser gelöst. Etc.

Sven hat interessante Erkenntnisse und Einsichten in grosser Tiefe der Materie. Und eigene Konzepte, die über das im Profi-Bereich übliche hinausgehen, z.B. seine Verwendung von Holz. Ich freue mich auf die Kooperation mit ihm.
Er hat u.a. einen Besuch im Tonstudio Soundville in Luzern initiiert, wo ich selber vor vielen Jahren als Tonmeister wirkte.
